I work in graphite and colored pencil.

I’m drawn to small things that hold whole worlds:

The delicacy yet strength of a cicada wing.

The texture of a worn-down ancient tetradrachm coin — smooth from thousands of hands.

The wonder of a curio cabinet.

The microscopic world that lives alongside us — the hairs on a beetle’s leg, the tentacles on an octopus arm, the plates on a seahorse’s tail.

The weather-beaten feel of a fossilized whale bone.

My work lives in three collections:

My drawings are built from thousands of hand-sharpened pencil marks — light layers, soft smudges, sharp eraser lifts for light.

I make prints because I want these drawings to be lived with.
