Barn Owl

Velvety down and fringe-edged feathers dampen sound and allow the barn owl to fly virtually silently. At dusk, it appears as an apparition.

In the original drawing, I used graphite and colored pencil to reproduce textures observed during raptor flight training.

Archival giclee print made from the original drawing. Printed on heavyweight matte archival paper. Signed. Unframed. Originals not sold through this website.
