Dalmation Pelican

The Dalmatian pelican is an error in chronology. Its massive wingspan, shaggy crest, and enormous bill put it more at home alongside a dinosaur than a modern shoreline.

I used soft, wispy smudges and bold graphite in the original drawing to capture this pelican’s primeval appearance.

Archival giclee print made from the original drawing. Printed on heavyweight matte archival paper. Signed. Unframed. Originals not sold through this website
