Sacred Scarab

In ancient Egypt, the scarab beetle embodied Khepri, the divine rising sun, and became a powerful symbol of creation, renewal, and eternal rebirth.

In the original drawing, I used brush-like graphite lines to illustrate a scarab as it pushes a geometric sun disc across the sky.

Archival giclee print made from the original drawing. Printed on heavyweight matte archival paper. Signed. Unframed. Originals not sold through this website.
