Comet Moth

The yellow-green comet moth uses its elongated hind wings to confuse predatory bats, turning evasion into an aerial dance. For the comet moth, elegance is survival.

In the original drawing, I used graphite and layers of colored pencil to render the lunar ballet of a vividly colored comet moth.
